Studying the SAF uniform
I researched on the design of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) uniform and found out that there is information describing the function of each feature of the uniform.
For example, the last button of the shirt can be used to actually form a makeshift bandage when the shirt if folded upwards incase or an arm injury.
To me it was interesting to see how every feature of the military uniform has a purpose but when it comes to fashion, these features become obsolete and they move to become decor instead of function

I was drawn towards the military collection in the archive because of my background in the military and it made me wonder how something so practical and serious be treated as fashion
